In both though, players must utilize the power of Ecos, the same elemental substances found throughout the game series. In addition, the mysterious dark and light Eco are extremely important due to their ability to be used as the basis for hidden character-specific moves, power, weapons and technologies. Whether battling Sky Pirates in a customizable aircraft or blasting Aeropans with the punishing Gunstaff weapon, Jak and Daxter’s journey will take them beyond the edge of the Brink — and into a war bigger than they ever could have imagined. In the form of either Jak or Daxter players engage in a combination of mandatory and optional missions where according to the level played, they will face action or puzzle centric situations, and in some cases a combination of the two.
