And because they are designed to be part of a self-contained system, there are no monthly usage charges. Cost-effective and easy to install, Choice Alert components offer wireless operation, multi-zone coverage, home and away settings, all-weather function, and expandability for complete home protection.

With wireless capabilities, Choice Alert products require no complicated wiring, drilling or expensive installation costs. The GE 45136 Choice Alert Wireless Alarm Siren is an alarm that you can add to your Choice Alert Security system for greater sound coverage. It is ideal for larger homes, sheds, detached garages, business properties, or places where your Choice Alert Alarm cannot be heard. Featuring plug-and-play installation with no wiring required, the alarm siren communicates with your system's Wireless Control Center, emitting a 130-decibel alarm when the security system has been breached.The GE 45136 Choice Alert Alarm Siren Provides:

The GE 45136 Alarm Siren can work alongside other wireless Choice Alert components as part of a GE Choice Alert Wireless Alarm System. Installation is easy thanks to the siren's plug-and-play design--simply plug the Alarm Siren's AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet, pair it with the Wireless Control Center, and mount it in wood or drywall using the included screws. As many as four sensors can be programmed in each of four zones, giving you the security of up to 16 sensors to guard your entire home.

The Wireless Control Center allows you to secure your system with a custom four-digit code that can be changed at any time. The Alarm Siren will operate within 150 feet of your Wireless Control Center, making it ideal for expansive areas of your home. This 130-decibel alarm warns you of unexpected visitors and deters would-be intruders. The center wirelessly transmits and receives signals up to 150 feet.

Additionally, the Wireless Control Center features a low-battery indicator that will alert you when battery power is low in a specific zone, so you'll know exactly when to replace the batteries in every one of your components.

Combine Components for Total Home Coverage To complement the Alarm Siren, there are several components available for use with the Wireless Control Center, including a door/window sensor, motion detector, water leak sensor, signal repeater (for enhanced wireless range), garage door sensor, and Silent Alert LED indicator. For example, you can select 'Home' mode for an instant alarm and 'Away' mode for a delayed alarm. In addition to the armed alarm system, the Control Center also offers a visible and audible Zone Notification alert system (with a choice of continuous alert or single chime mode) and a dedicated alert zone (Zone 4). Plus, the center lets you control many system features. The siren features battery backup for continual operation during a power outage and a battery-life indicator.
