Barcus-Berry 3100-PV Side Mount Viola/Mandolin 1/4" Carpenter Jack, no pickup

The Barcus-Berry 3100PV is a high quality Carpenter-style clamp-on jack with longer turnbuckles for viola or mandolin. If you are having trouble screwing the turnbuckle onto the jack mounting bolts, try the other end of the turnbuckle. Jack only, pickup not included. Note: The turnbuckles are reverse-threaded on one end. The jack clamps onto the side of the instrument without tools, and has cork pads to protect the instrument finish. Fits all size violas and most mandolins (except bowl back), does not fit violins -- for violins, use the 3100-P jack instead. Jack clamp range approximately 1 9/16" to 2 1/16". Includes turnbuckle adjustment tool. This is the same jack used in the 3100 pickup system, except with longer turnbuckles.
