Gon Bops California Series Super Tumba 13.25 Inch (Mahogany Stain, Oak)
Product Description
Many months later they are ready to be turned by an artisan who has made these shells the old-fashioned way for more than 20 years. Once they are sanded to a baby-soft finish, nearly one full year has passed. The lumber has to be hand-selected from only the finest air-dried quartersawn Red Appalachian Oak. The shells are then hand-glued and again, hammered to shape. Each stave is meticulously cut and bent by hand, steel rings hand-hammered into place, then cured for months.
