Teaming three of the biggest icons in Italian cinema history, Marriage Italian Style sees the legendary Vittorio De Sica directing the great Marcello Mastroianni and one of the most beautiful women to ever grace the screen, Sophia Loren in a tale of vivid characters and the foibles of their sex. His best received picture was The Bicycle Thieves, while the multi-award winning Two Women, widely regarded as a classic, garnered Sophia Loren an Oscar for her performance. The film centres on a well to do, middle class couple who appear to have life just as they like it. Screen siren Loren, an internationally renowned figure of culture, is widely regarded to be one of the most beautiful women to have ever lived. The problem arises when Domenico's (Mastroianni) mistress (Loren) grows tired of living her life on the side, and seeks to become a more prominent feature in his life. She has performed alongside icons such as Charlton Heston, Paul Newman and Charlie Chaplin (in his last film).
