Mode 3 is intended for practice use only. Designed for ease-of-use, the InSight GT's point and shoot technology allows you to take readings by simply pressing the button, pointing at the flag or target, and releasing the button. The InSight GT also provides you with the option to turn on audible feedback that alerts you when the range has been found. The InSight GT Golf Laser Rangefinder from Opti-Logic provides accurate pinpoint ranging distances to the flag, and also offers slope adjusted distance readings to improve your golf game. In addition, the InSight GT offers a standard course setting and reflective setting option for use on courses with reflective flags. Built for accuracy and simplicity, while the InSight GT may not be the most feature laden of golf rangefinders, it does provide accurate readings within one yard with advanced PinSeeker and Slope Compensated technologies that are normally reserved for pricier models.

• Slope-Compensated Horizontal Distance: provides horizontal distance readings to the target that are adjusted for the up or downhill trajectory

Please Note: The InSight GT is USGA/R&A compliant when operated in modes 1 (Line-of-Sight) and 2 (PinSeeker) only. In order to ensure greater accuracy, the InSight GT offers three ranging modes that include: Line-of-Sight that reads your distance to a lone target; PinPoint that allows you to pinpoint a target without interference from background objects; and Slope-Compensated Horizontal Distance that provides distance readings to the target that are adjusted for the up or downhill trajectory to your target. All three modes operate with the same single-button functionality. The device is not USGA/R&A compliant in mode 3 (Slope-Compensated Horizontal Distance).
